"Guess" - 1st chapter for Fandom Fights Tsunami Compilation
Like many other writers in the fandom I've signed up to contribute something to the Fandom Fights Tsunami compilation - and as I'm about to email them my story, I figured I should raise awareness for the cause once more!
Right now almost 300 authors have signed up for this compilation that you can still donate to the cause to get until July 1st! The compilation will be sent out on May 20th, so the sooner you donate, the sooner you'll get it!
Unlike some other writers who will keep their contribution exclusive to this compilation I will post mine after the donation drive is over - mainly because I was unable to come up with a o/s, and instead wrote the first chapter for the next new multi chapter fic! [as of now I'm very afraid of my brain, just so you know]

UP NEXT
With ABD coming to a definite end next Saturday, I would like to take the time for a quick update about what I'm planning (and already writing on) for the months to come. And I need your help – I need banners for my two new stories, and it would be great if someone who has a knack for banners could 'adopt' them.
Among an infinite number of possible one-shots to come up with (including but not limited to HBR/ABD outtakes) I have two longer multi-chapter stories lined up next, BL and TEMC.
BL – Bloody Lies
After finishing 'Bend me, break me' (and more recently, the 2nd POV to it), I've been wanting to write a story that is fast, dark, and has enough twists that I really need an outline (and don't get to wing it again like with HBR/ABD where I knew what would happen, but the real plot was easy to keep track of in my head). Something to challenge me and my readers both, with strong, complicated characters, none of whom really belong to the 'good guys'.
If I can pull it off as I aim to, it will be somewhat of a love child of Tarantino's movies & Inception. It will be from Bella's POV, but she's probably one of the most un-Bella-esque Bellas I've ever created. Like with BMBM I will freely steal the twi names and physical attributes – and that is about where the resemblance to other twi fanfics will end. It will be violent, bloody, delve deep into the darker sides of the human psyche, and I can't wait to finally start writing it after almost a year of planning. There won't be much smut, but there will be some. Once you get to meet Edward, you'll probably understand why.
BL will update Saturdays (getting ABD's spot simply because the story will be longer, with possibly longer chapters).
TEMC – The Elusive Mr. Cullen
Bella is a high class escort, Edward her newest client, they soon realize that there's more between them than great sex and witty conversations. While Bella doesn't believe in fairy tales, her life seems to be turning into one fast. Or is it?
While that summary might sound like hundreds of fics out there, don't forget it's me writing it, so expect a few twists and turns, larger than life characters, and smut. It was planned to be about 19 chapters long and coming shy of 80k words, but 8 chapters in I can already tell you that it's getting longer than that. It's also in Bella's POV, her narrative is very refreshing and spunky (pun intended, of course), and while the story comes with a hefty dose of romance, it's not going to be fluffy.
After all, fairy tales used to be about something else except meeting your Prince Charming not so long ago.
TEMC will update Tuesdays, to spread the love over the entire week.

If you know me, you know I'm not a fan of the whole pics of the twi actors craze, and I don't want any of them in any of the banners. The banners should be simple and classy, and of course I'll thank whoever takes on the challenge in my A/Ns and here (and I'm not adverse to offering to write a o/s or outtake in return for it, too). If you're interested, please email me at daria.chenowith@gmail.com so we can discuss things!
Short(er) projects:
- Because almost everyone who commented on my Eurofornication slash o/s 'In Vienna' was curious how that would continue, we've done some heavy duty brainstorming to come up with a few more chapters. 5-6 probably, and I don't know yet when I'll have the time to write them. Before summer, hopefully.
- I'm working on a o/s for the 'Twilight Fights Tsunami' Compilation. Not 100% sure what it will turn out to be (I'm still open for suggestions, hint hint) but the current plan is a Jasper/Alice o/s, somewhat angsty, somewhat smutty, and hopefully something that will break your heart but also make you sigh happily. I want to contribute a stand-alone o/s for it, and this is your chance to tell me what to write ;)
- There's still the matter of 'Velvet & Chains', my Dommella's Dungeon sample entry. I haven't forgotten about it, but need to take a break from all things kinky, but if I come up with a solid plot I might develop that into a medium sized fic after TEMC is finished.

Almost done now!
I personally think this is one of the best chapters to characterize all of three of them. In a way, it could already have been the last chapter of the story, but there are still a few loose ends to tie up for next week's update.
